Antiphone--I disagree with the Bush administration (stupid and incompetent--why go in to Iraq if not as a precursor to invading Iran and Syria? Hello!!!). I hardly think these good folks would classify me as a liberal, however. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.....

I would have a lot more sympathy if I thought Spears were someone would give a rat's rear-end about this happening to anyone else. I've seen no evidence of that (evidently she can't even work up any concern for her children--if she can't give a crap about them shy should we give a crap about her?)

For the record, the Southern Poverty Law Center is an extremist hate group in its own right--another one of those liberal organization's whose euphemistic names suggest benevolence while their practices further their goals of advancing racism, socialism, and ultimately the destruction of America (ACLU, anyone?)

I think it is ENTIRELY possible to support the troops without supporting their mission--indeed, I don't see how this proprosition isn't pretty much self-evident unless I'm employing a different definition of "support" than some others. However, I think that this is a huge red-herring. The libs don't just not "support the mission"--they hate the troops and the millitary, PERIOD, regardless of the mission--at least as long as a Republican president is in the White House.
